Virtual performances are nothing new to the Department of Music, but the Ƶ Symphony Orchestra and others went all out for a recent presentation of Gustav Mahler’s Urlicht from Symphony No. 2.
The video, above, includes current and past members of the symphony, a conductor in an empty Mondavi Center, as well as dancers in Buenos Aires, Davis and Sacramento. It also featured a renowned singer.
