Discounted tickets available for ΢����Ƶ Night with the Kings

Discounted tickets for ΢����Ƶ Night with the Sacramento Kings are being sold through Jan. 27. The Staff Assembly-sponsored event is set for Feb. 3 when the Kings are scheduled to play the San Antonio Spurs.

Tipoff for the National Basketball Association game is 7 p.m. at Arco Arena. Staff Assembly has arranged for a discounted price of $30.50 per ticket (does not include transportation). Five dollars from each ticket will help fund staff dependant scholarships.

Group seating will be in Sections 202 and 203, upper level, at center court. “The best seats will be given on a first-come, first-served basis, so order early,” organizers said.

From among the ΢����Ƶ group, 20 people will be selected by lottery to high-five the team. Organizers said raffle prizes will be awarded, and people in the ΢����Ƶ group can buy discounted food and beverage cards.

Campus Rec expands its new online registration system

Campus Recreation has taken another big step into the world of online registration.

"After a successful soft launch of our new B2H online store in the fall, we are greatly expanding the scope of classes we offer for online registration this winter," declares Campus Rec's eGuide for January.

B2H stands for Bridges to Health, developed by the recreation programs at ΢����Ƶ, UC Berkeley and UCLA.

The ΢����Ƶ B2H portal now allows online registrtation in these categories: Fitness and Wellness, Craft Center, Equestrian Center and Outdoor Adventures.

"Avoid lines, create your profile and get connected with your favorite programs," Campus Rec advises.
