The ΢��Ƶ student health center has formed a public health unit to help chart prevention efforts, patient care and campus response related to infectious diseases — including COVID-19 and monkeypox (MPX) — and other public health issues.

To help Aggies be healthier now and in the future, the University of California, Davis, has joined the Partnership for a Healthier America.

Over the course of a three-year agreement, ΢��Ƶ is pledging to meet 23 criteria to help students, faculty and staff make better food choices and be more physically active.

The public is invited to attend a campus and community town hall about college student alcohol use and ways to prevent high-risk drinking in Davis on Wednesday, Nov. 16.

"Enhancing Our Safety and Well-Being: Where Does Alcohol Fit In?" will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Community Chambers of the Davis Civic Center at 23 Russell Blvd. It is being organized by Student Health and Counseling Services at ΢��Ƶ.
