΢��Ƶ is one of the nation’s top five universities, according to Money Magazine’s 2019 “Best Colleges” ranking.

The University of California, Davis, continues to be ranked first in the world in veterinary science and second in agriculture and forestry, according to the 2018 QS World University Rankings by subject released today (Feb. 28).

Among 48 disciplines, ΢��Ƶ ranked in the top 50 in seven. In addition to veterinary science and agriculture and forestry, they are environmental sciences (13th), anatomy and physiology (26th), biological sciences (29th), earth and marine sciences (tied for 29th), and developmental studies (31st).

΢��Ƶ Maintains Top-10 Ranking in Annual College Poll

The University of California, Davis, has been recognized as the sixth best public university in the United States by the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education rankings released today (Sept. 26).

Overall, ΢��Ƶ is ranked 46th among all public and private universities in the United States, and is one of only eight public schools in the top 50.

The university scored 76.8 points out of a possible 100 overall in four categories.

΢��Ƶ Tops World Rankings in Agricultural Economics and Policy

΢��Ƶ is ranked first in the world in agricultural economics and policy — and among the top 10 in 17 other subjects — based on the number of research articles published by its affiliates in top-tier academic journals.

The Center for World University Rankings released its inaugural subjects ranking Monday.

The University of California, Davis, has been recognized as the sixth best public university in the United States in the inaugural Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education College Ranking.

΢��Ƶ is ranked 43rd among all U.S. public and private universities in the ranking released today (Sept. 28).

The university scored 77.5 points out of a possible 100 overall in four general categories:

The University of California, Davis, has been ranked 17th among 705 colleges and universities in Money magazine’s 2016 “Best Colleges,” measuring educational quality, affordability and career earnings.

In its report released today (July 11), Money said ΢��Ƶ is "an affordable school that produces results." The magazine noted that about 43 percent of the student body is considered low-income, but the university still has a six-year graduation rate of 83 percent — well above the average for schools with a comparable population of students.

΢��Ƶ Named Global Leader on Environment

An international survey of more than 400 colleges has ranked ΢��Ƶ No. 3 in the world in environmental sustainability for the university's teaching, research, campus lifestyle and management.

The annual GreenMetric rankings by the University of Indonesia moved ΢��Ƶ up one spot from its No. 4 ranking a year earlier. It is now behind only the University of Nottingham in England and the University of Connecticut.
