It’s official: the ΢��Ƶ endowment has crossed the $2 billion threshold. As of May 31, the university’s endowed fund reached a total of $2.2 billion, more than doubling the $1 billion milestone reached just six years ago.

Donors continue to bring nothing but good news to the University of California, Davis, setting giving records to achieve greater impact during a challenging and tragic year. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the university raised a historic amount in the last fiscal year: a record $269.4 million from 36,016 donors, with an all-time high of 63,650 gifts and pledges.

The University of California, Davis, publicly launched a $2 billion fundraising campaign today (Oct. 9), the largest philanthropic endeavor in its history. This bold goal will propel the university’s work to prepare future leaders, sustain healthier communities, and bring innovative solutions to today’s most urgent challenges.

The campaign, “Expect Greater: From ΢��Ƶ, for the world,” will harness the power of philanthropy to address defining issues of our time such as pandemic response, climate change, public safety and more.
